Don't Call It A Comeback
Jeez Louise, I haven't posted in awhile. Sorry! I've been riding my new bicycle quite a bit lately. I've put over 200 miles on her already. I'm even starting to get used to the tight-fitting clothing. Yikes!
The hills of eastern Kansas can really put the hurt on me after several miles. I need to move to the flat prairie of the western portion of the state. I can sprint like a mutha on the flats, but my mass gets the best of me on the long climbs. I feel like 230 pounds of pure pain going up big hills. The ol' power/weight ratio gets the best of me against more petite riders, like my wife. If I keep the riding up, I can probably get back to my critical mass of 210 pounds. Then I'll hammer those hills and leave nothin' but a mushroom cloud in my wake! :)

Okay, So The Quarterback Isn't ALWAYS The Smartest Guy On The Field

I love me some Ultramagnetic MC's. I just purchased this remastered version of Critical Beatdown, and I can't get enough of it. From numerous hip-hop albums to Prodigy, this album has influenced music across the board. The non-stop sampling of Critical Beatdown has made it a timeless classic. If you're a hip-hop enthusiast with a soft spot in your heart for the 808 kick drum, you've got to check these guys out. They set the stage for hip-hop and their performances do not disappoint.

Damnit, Laundry's Expensive
I recently put my second cell phone in four months though the wash. Fuck! I even checked my pockets. Well, most of them. Those damn tool pockets on carpenter shorts always come back to haunt me! Unfortunately, my wife still lets me do the laundry.

Ladies And Gents, Playas And Pimps, Listen
Fashionably Late's on the mic; pay attention.
Entries in the Opium Diary
These songs form a snippet of Bree and Pam's latest live performance at O'Malley's in Manhattan, KS. Also, these are some of their newest songs which have yet to be formally recorded on an album. So, these live performances are your only chance to hear them, thanks to Pam's new little recording doohickey that she can take to gigs and plug all the mics and instruments into. I hope you like'em!
*UPDATE* Apparently Merseybeat frowns upon direct links to songs posted on their site. Therefore, you may have to go to Bree and Pam's Homepage to hear the latest songs if you're using Internet Explorer. Scroll down to the bottom and you will find the songs on your left. The problem doesn't seem to rear its ugly head if you're using Firefox; just another reason to use this wonderful browser.
